WHAT: The U.S. Open is the largest international badminton competition in Pan-America. As a BWF sanctioned “Grand Prix Gold” event, the U.S. Open has a prize money pool of $120,000.
WHO: More than 230 athletes from over 30 countries will be represented, including: World Men's Singles No. 12 Lee Hyun-Il (KOR), Women's Doubles No. 12 Stefani/Gabriela Stoeva (BUL), and Women's Singles No. 10 Beiwen Zhang (USA).
WHEN: The tournament begins Wednesday, July 19, and will conclude on Sunday, July 23.
WHERE: Anaheim Convention Center Arena, 800 W Katella Avenue, Anaheim, CA 92802. This marks the second straight year the tournament will be played in Southern California.
