The city of Anaheim is hosting a job fair on Aug. 12; it needs to hire about 100 people in connection with the 200,000-square-foot expansion of the Anaheim Convention Center that is nearing completion.
Some 75 meetings and convention have already been booked for the expanded space, which is adding more exhibit space and meeting rooms. The expansion is expected to be completed late next month.
Among the work being hired for is cleaning, setting up for events and parking lot attendants. The jobs are part-time, pay ranges from $11.14 to $12.40 an hour.
Applications can be made online and at the 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. fair, which will be held at the Convention Center on the second floor above Hall C. Interviews will be done at the fair and organizers said jobs will be offered on the spot.
